More About Spandana Society
50% of the book's proceeds funded full education scholarships for three underprivileged children welcomed into the Spandana Society in Hyderabad, India.
These children, along with the 90 others at the Spandana Children’s Home—each facing distress, abandonment, or orphanhood—are now receiving care and support.
The new students were enrolled in an English-medium private school that emphasizes leadership, creativity, and essential 21st-century skills to prepare them for a successful future.
The mission of Spandana Society to create a nurturing family-like environment for underprivileged children offering love, care, and support, while equipping them with quality education and comprehensive development programs.
By 2029, Spandana Society will provide this transformative experience to 250 children, fostering a future generation of compassionate and capable individuals.
In 2017, Veena Chatani engaged with the founders and children, teaching yoga and art classes. She found Spandana to be a trustworthy and deserving cause and is proud to support these children in reaching their full potential.
